John William Weaver

Financial Consultant

Growing up, I had a front-row seat to the impact thoughtful financial guidance can have on families. Watching my father work closely with clients—helping them navigate important decisions, assess risk, and understand the power of compounding interest—sparked my interest at a young age and ultimately led me to this career.

What I enjoy most about my work is the opportunity to meet clients where they are. Every individual and every family has a unique story, along with their own concerns, needs, and goals. My role is to bring clarity to what can often feel complex or overwhelming—helping simplify the financial landscape and reduce uncertainty so clients can move forward with confidence.

My practice includes comprehensive financial planning, estate strategies, tax planning, and asset management. These areas are closely interconnected, and when approached thoughtfully, they can create meaningful opportunities rather than unintended challenges. My focus is to help ensure all aspects work together in a way that adds value and supports each client’s long-term vision.

Clients often describe me as approachable, thorough, and genuinely invested in their success. I believe that’s because I don’t view this work as transactional—it’s about building lasting relationships and being a trusted resource across generations. I strive to be the person clients turn to during life’s most important decisions, helping them prepare for what lies ahead.

On a personal note, my wife, Brianna, and I live in Dawsonville, nestled between the North Georgia mountains and Atlanta. We attend Free Chapel in Gainesville, and when I’m not in the office or meeting with clients, I enjoy spending time outdoors—fishing, hunting, golfing, and being on Lake Lanier, where many of my fondest childhood memories were made.

As the second oldest of six children, I grew up in a close-knit family that emphasized the importance of listening, supporting one another, and showing up when it matters most. Those same values continue to guide how I serve my clients every day.
